Just commented in a thread where someone was boasting about going on their parents insurance illegally and thought I'd make a thread about what I was advising in the comment.
I suggest to the young drivers (17-18) to go with ikube, In my case it saved me around 3 grand on insurance as I was getting quoted 4-5 grand at the cheapest and ended up getting it for 1.3 grand.
BEFORE you start commenting saying that its crap as it ties you down, don't because in my case it doesn't, I don't work after 11 pm and there is no other reason that I need to be out after that time, if I really wanted to go out after that time I would pay ikube 100 pound to do so, it's much better than paying an extra 3 grand in the first place.
when your with ikube your car can't move after 11pm and before 5 or 6 am so if you do need to go out after 11pm you simply can't go with ikube, but if you don't need to I think you should consider going with ikube(the quotes are free) ... Ikube also builds up your no claims bonus, which is already better than fronting imo besides the fact that if you crash whilst fronting your most likely to get bent over.
