Yes, and yes. Although that doesn't look very straight from that photo, notice the dent on the bottom of the sill. Has that cowboy Vern sold you a dud:devil: Looks like it's either rolled off the jack at some point bending the jacking point or it's starting to rot.
Is the other side any straighter?

Sorry I went out... whoops.

The jacking points on both sides are straight, the metal 'lip' in front of the drivers side is bent a little, the jacking point is fine.

Got the car jacked up off the ground, then realised, CLS's alloys are still buried in my shed so put the car back down because I don't trust the kids around here and leaving my car half jacked up.
By the time I'd got the alloy back out my friend rang and asked if I wanted to meet him before I go on holiday for the week. This is much more interesting than CLS's alloy so sorry to disappoint but it'll have to wait....

Just caught up on the last two pages, what a performance!

Charmander has had a few patches in her time, I'd have to read all the relevant threads to remember when and where they were done so ' stop winding if you hear a crunching noise' is good advice as some of the repairs will be over four years old now.

The bent jacking point is probably one of those areas as I would never have left it crooked

The jacking point isn't actually that bent, no crunching noises when I jacked her up. Currently sitting in a taverna in sunny Santorini.
This is parked right outside my hotel.
