Technical Electric Charging alert

Hi all, the other day, I noticed that when I plug my charger lead in to my 500e, ready for an overnight charge, an alert appears on the dash, suggesting there’s a problem, yet the charging process is working perfectly as expected. Has anyone else experienced this with their car?

Is the charger live when you plug in? It is supposed to be, so, if not, that could explain the issue.

Good point! Thinking about it, I might have plugged the car in before connecting the other end to the charger. I’ll try it later to see if the warning disappears. Thanks for your advice

I checked it again by plugging the cable into the charger first, but then realised that the problem is probably linked to the fact that the charger is not live until Octopus activates it according to the EV tariff I have agreed with them. I’ll stop worrying about it now!
