I charge my 500e at home using 240V 13A domestic socket. Charging rate is set at 5 on Uconnect. Today the charge rate reset to 3 without my resetting it. Any idea why this should happen? Thanks for any advice.

It's just something some of the cars do. Mine (2022) never has but plenty of others have. Other than checking regularly I don't think there's anything to do.

Thanks for that. It's just that at setting 3 it would take 24hrs to go from 40% to 100%! On 5 it's overnight.

I know, I've used a granny charger for most of the last two years. It's one of the more annoying (alongside randomly changing units from metric to imperial) they can do.

Interesting! My display jumped to metric a few weeks ago. I've had the car for 6 weeks.
