changing graphics memory

hi all, just a quick question, not sure if it can be done or how hard it would be but, i have 96mb of graphics memory in my laptop and 576mb of ram, is there anyway of changing the graphics too 128mb? thanks oh 1 more thing instead of creating a new thread, how would i add a new harddrive? how do i set it to slave etc. thanks

Depending on the G-Card there is software available out there which can combine RAM with G-Card RAM. I did this with my 16MB Nvidia TNT and had it at 16+48 = 64MB RAM

NVTuner can do this, not sure about other cards.

Can get an External Drive or buy a bigger internal Drive

oh right, as far as i know its on board graphics but ill have a look

hard drive in a laptop.. usually only space for one so no need to deal with the master/slave thing. On a compaq it might be as easy as opening the hard drive caddy and putting the new drive in

ah well thats good to know, ill have a look for at least 60gb
