Technical Changing Alternator on a 899 Cinq

Iv managed to get the old one off,after a struggle.But i gather its easier with the wheel arch cover off??

Im just a bit confused with the routing of the belt.And iv forgot how it was originally.

My Haynes manuel shows it coming off the crank,then running over the top of the water pump pulley,then around the alternator.

Shouldnt it go around the water pump pulley,or am i having a Divvy moment..lol

Needs to go round the water pump pulley.

I thought it should,but my Haynes manual on page 5A.4 shows a pic of it not.Looks like Haynes put it back together wrong..lol
