I (and my Mother) have just finished paying for my first years of insurance!
I have been ridiculously poor for the last 10 months and now it's all paid for, no more monthly payments! Hurray! I can finally afford to properly look after my car, will be treating it to a new tyre and an oil and filter change next month (I had to skip this years service which I've been feeling bad about due to lack of funds) I feel so much better now!

I presume it all starts again in 2 months time, and with a bit of luck cheaper with another year's driving experience perhaps?
Anyway, at least you know that you have been driving legally and safely.
I can't help looking at certain vehicles and their drivers sometimes and thinking "how the hell are you insured to drive that?" And wishing I had a uniform and PNC access.
Is it just me?

Yep, but a lot cheaper, been getting quotes of less than half of the price of my first year. Just got to get through these next two months without any incident and I'll have that 1 years NCB.
