Had a search on here but still confused. Just bought a 2011 (early) mylife Panda with the blaupunkt stereo. Loving the car, however it won't read my mp3 cd. I would have thought they all do these days, am I deluding myself?
I've tried burning them at slower speeds, but still get "CD ERROR".
It may seem trivial, but I'm doing a 100 mile journey once a week, and changing a cd is something I don't want to be doing at speed.
Thanks

The earlier models only had mp3 capability on the top models, Eleganza and 100hp. The pre-select buttons have additional operations, with small labelling below the numbers. If button 6 does not show mp3, then it will not read them.
Blame the original owner, not spending on the upgrade when ordering it new.

These are easy to change and for 70 quid a decent upgrade can be fitted in less than 5 minutes in a halfords car park. They did mine for free at a small local branch with superb customer care. Then i could play any disc plug my phone in and look at something much nicer than the original which i binned as it was all it was good tor.

Ta. I did find a couple of images, one showing the mp3 logo and one not. Though I still find it a bit daft that mp3 was an upgrade in 20011, it's a good excuse to put a mechless in.
