2nd question, the stilo i brought has an aftermarket cd player in (single din), i have brought off my mate an OEM stilo cd player. What are the connections like, will it be a straight swap? is it easy to get the aftermarket facia off? aannnd lastly do i need a code as i dont have one

Do you mean a OEM radio/CD or the Fiat version of the IDC-A09 5 disc CD changer?

The aftermarket CD player should have a wiring loom between the Stilo's wiring and your aftermarket headunit. Once you remove the loom you should be left with cables that will plug straight into the OEM unit.
As for removing the facia, there will either be 4 caps over screw holes on the front of the facia or clips behind, slide the stereo out and put your hand through to feel for them and pull it off (or get the hammer out, either way)
