hi,
My son has just bought a 51 plate 1.2 stilo . It has the cassete player and he would like a cd player . are they easy to source and fit and if anyone has swapped one any help will be much appreciated. thanks

take a gander on the bay, in classified here put in the details and some one braking a stilo up might get in contact , failing this there are plenty nof scrappers around selling on the net direct 2u

Hi Colin. Welcome to the FF.

Any working Stilo Visteon CD Player/Radio should be a straight swap for your son's Cassette Player/Radio.

You will need the code for it work in another car. I can probably get the code for you if you buy one without it.

Hi, I have a visteon CD player in full working order with the code and it will fit into any Stilo with a visteon unit already installed. If you want to make an offer let me know as I have not listed it ebay yet.

Hi, i am new to this forum. I hope you dont mind me asking but do you have to fit a stilo radio cd player? i have bought an aftermarket one and am having real problems.
Lastly would this one you have for sale fit an 02 model?

You do not have to fit a Fiat head unit, a aftermarket will go in but you will need a facia surround. You can get them from Halfords if its a single din, if its a double din should go straight in. You may also need a wiring pack that joins the Fiat stereo blocks to your new stereo's iso blocks. The one I have for sale is in the parts for sale section on this forum, and it will fit a 2002 stilo what do you have in the car at the moment and do you need the cage for the Visteon head unit as I have a spare one.

I have a cage thanks and i bought a harness,but i dont think its right.so i will look at the one you have for sale, thanks can you tell me what you have advertised this as?

I have it advertised as a Visteon CD Player this will work with steering wheel controls if you have them, and dim with dash lights setting. I am about to change the ad from the asking price of £60 to £50 postage is extra and will depend on the service you want to use ok.
