Technical CD Player keeps going

Is my Cd player faulty? If I don't use SRC button and turn Cd player off so radio is playing before switching ignition off Cd player keeps playing! (no sound but discs still turning) If left over night seems to play through all five discs ....would have expected it to stop when car turned off

Its bawsed! Mine did that, i stripped it and found that one of the plastic worm gears had threaded. Could prolly be fixed, but a pain in the ass!
