cd changer still not working..help

I installed a brand new cd changer cdx-t69 6 disc, with the right connects 2 interface for mk2- brava 1.2.

Fitted the cable to the radio and checked all connections - i turned on the radio and pressed the button on the radio to start the cd changer (SCR - button)as the car manual says.
The manual says that the radio displays MCD for the changer to be active, when pressed - mine says
AUX, and nothing happens.no button when pressed does anything.
What i am doing wrong.

Is there a reset button in the front of the changer?

Hi mate, iv'e got the same problem as you had with your cd not working and aux on the radio. any chance you could let me know how you sorted it out, regards mick

just a quick thought, but on my blaupunkt stereo i had a similar problem, on the back abouve the speaker and power plugs is a single socket for amp, changer, remote control. the problem i had was that i had connected the changer in the the place for the amp. hope the above makes sense!!
