Got a new motor and decided not to pay for the dealers Superguard system.
Would prefer to pay a car detailer to protect my motor with proper stuff ie
hi tech polishes and preparations..

So with that in mind can anyone recommend such a service in the
South London Surrey Kent area, PLEASE ..

There are a lot of good detailers down that way, there is a link in the South section on the Detailing World website.

IMO you have made an excellent choice in rejecting the dealers superguard system. Spending the same money with any detailer worthy of the name will get you a much superior result.

Or that money will buy you some excellent detailing products and equipment if you decide to do it yourself.

IMO the single most important thing to do or have done is to clay the (freshly washed) car as soon as possible to remove the bonded contaminants from the paint. These will have collected on the car in transit/storage and, if left, will cause permanent damage to your paintwork.

Claying my new 500 removed a surprising amount of contamination and I shudder to think of a dealer putting superguard on top of what I removed!

Enjoy your new motor!

yep there is plenty in that area :) most important claying it depends tbh for actually "cleaning" decontamination is what your referring to yes detarring and claying but for actually "enhancing" the look of the paint polishing most def. is....
