General car derived van?

does anyone know if the scudo/expert etc is classed as a car derived van as its derived from a mpv?the reason i ask is if your in say a transit the speed limit on a 60 mph road is 50 mph does anyone know if this applies to our vans?because car derived vans have the same classification as a car where as purpose designed vans are different

Doesn't matter what the classification is, Scudo's are over 2 ton and are therefore classed as goods vehicles under 7.5 ton.

It's slightly annoying as the Ulysse, 806 etc have the same payload/weight limit and are allowed to go faster
