Hi,
I know this is sensitive since it's 'off topic' but what's the worst that could happen?
My G/F has a VW Polo (bought before I met her
). On Saturday we both noticed a loud, slow, mechanical knocking sound coming from the front of the car when manouvering at car park speeds - full lock, left or right turns.
The noise sounds like it occurs every one revolution of the wheels and we were both sure it was getting louder the more it was driven (could be playing tricks on our paranoid ears though!) For this reason the Polo was ditched in favour of my Bravo for the rest of the w/e.
Can anyone suggest what this could be please?
I'd like to get her as much info as possible before she goes to the garage to be blinded by techno-babble.
