Afternoon all im having serious problems trying to register on the fccuk forum does anyone know which email provider they allow?

I am having the same problem myself, any help would be appreciated.

well somebody here told me to check it out cos of all the usefull info available i was only asking

i have tried with my yahoo my gmail ( which apparently comes under hotmail and even opened a hushmail account all to no avail

aaaargh talk talk email is now affiliated with aol which resulted in my registration being denied due to unverified email.....

And I'm not being funny but why would we provide help with someone else's forum?

Nice - thanks for that...

I've linked this thread to a PM to some of the FCCUK Mods - they'll sort it for you

Membership Mod has already got back to me - they will be looking into it and somebody should be able to get in touch with you soon(ish)

In the meantime, is there anything specific you need to know? I was one of the founder members of FCCUK, and I've been running Coupes for 12 years now - I also work at one of the main Coupe specialists

And I apologize for my earlier comment, FCCUK is an invaluable source and has helped me out a few times I was in a pissy mood.

LOL - we're all entitled to one every now and then - no harm done

The Hotmail/GMail ban is relatively recent - only applied because we were getting hit repeatedly by people advertising parts, taking money and then disappearing. 99% used a Hotmail or GMail address.

Yes, its a bit of a pain, but we find that very few people have ONLY a Hotmail or GMail address - most have another - use this to register, as we never divulge contact details unless there is a very good reason (like you've legged it with someone's money)

Thanks guys i recieved the PM and will be attempting to register later when i get five mins to myself,
other than my idle control valve i dont really have any direct issues but i can forsee some appearing in the future lol

Its unlikely that you'll survive Coupe ownership without problems. In fact when the car is running perfectly, paranoia tends to set in, as it's not normal.

After breaking my second gearbox in July, I had two months off the road while a new box was built with a Quaife diff to handle the extra power. I got the car back and ten days later, the aux belt came off and jumped into the cambelt, taking out the head and most of the valves.

Seems I'm destined to put more miles on my very early 16v Coupe than I will on my modded daily driver. Oh, the joys of Coupe ownership....
