Cant Programme my new key!?!?

just bought a new key, and had it cut around my red key, and tried to use the method to programme your new key into your ecu,
now after i have put my red key in,followed the process, then the blue key (already programmed), its fine, but wen i come to putting the new un programmed key in, it doesnt let me turn the key to the MAR position?

thats nothing to do with the programming, thats because the key is cut wrong.

it cant be tho, cos it opens my door locks and it goes into the ignition barrel, but it just wont turn?

No i get that when my car stalls the key wont turn until you turn the key back one and then try to start the car again. Think its the immobilisor.

I know what your saying Joske. My does exactly the same and is a safety feature to stop trying to start the car while it is still running.

You car would already be at the MAR position.

I would go with the key not being cut properly. Just because you can use it one barrel does not mean that it would work in all the barrels.

Take it back and ask them to file it down some more.

thats the thing i tried and it dint work,it must be the key?
