Panda Can't join group

Hello all,
I'm new and am trying to join the Panda group, but it doesn't work. I keep navigating in circles and see no error messages. Any tips? Is this functionality down for some reason?

I suspect the 'Group' was locked years ago..


Just say Hi in The relevant panda section

Social Groups were all but retired about 5+ years, but they remain visible for us oldies.
Maybe ben can make it a bit more obvious that they're not really relevant anymore?

Social groups are now just used to keep track of who has what.

They should let you join, but there's nothing to post there
