Dear Forum,

Tomorrow I will clean the paravan part, the "bin" just in front of the front window. Just checking this morning I saw that a piece of rubber is missing partially. This paravan has 2 rubber strips, a big one on the steel panel dividing the paravan from the engine bay and a smaller one just below the windshield wipers. The latter one is half missing or how do you say that in proper English (see images)?
My question is: I can't find it in Eper so does anyone know what the partnumber is of this piece of rubber and is it Fiat specific or is it a general part which can be bought anywhere?

Thanks in advance for your reaction and kind regards,

Aad

Seriously? A bit flabbergasted overhere. I could not imagine a reason why this should only be halfway? I can't remember how this was in the Punto type 176 and the Punto type 188 I had years ago.....

You could probably use a generic seal if you want it all the way across

I had three they all 2005, 2006 and 2011 they all go half way across

As do the majority of photos online

I don't know what was going through the designers mind, heat flow, drainage, drag coefficient

I doubt you find a fiat part number as that's not how they were originally, at least for the 1.1, 1.2, 1.4 or 1.3 UK models

The photo you posted is a natural gas version,.which has the ECU on the shuttle so I guess you could fit the wrong part from this model if you wish
