Yes but generally not worth it on a cost v benefit basis, the 1.2 8 valve engine isnt a good place to start really.... Buy a bigger engined model.

The best way to tune a 1.2 8v is to buy a 1.8 16v engine and pop it in ive got a 1.2 8v n im thinking of tuning it to but im just going for looks atm

No its not.

Best thing you can do is get a mk2b 1.4 sporting and get that to 130bhp. The cost of tuning an 8v outweighs the gains you will get from it by a massive margin. From the few people i know of that have tuned an 8v properly they have all said its not worth it when they have sold it as you will never make an engine that small properly quick.

110 out of a 1.2 8v, you must really be ragging the crap out of your engine..
and quite frankly why would you need to go faster then 110, there is no call in any part of your life to ever need to go that fast...

just stick with the 1.2 and tune that the best you can..
