General can i replace my mk1 door cards with mk2's

i'm thinking about putting doors speakers in my mk1 3 door but was wondering if it is possible if i can put mk2 door cards in instead of custom making them myself

I'm pretty sure you can't unless you drastically modify them (which would be pointless) the mk1 and mk2 are two different cars and only really related by name.

Why custom make door cards anyway why not just build a speaker pod on your current cards?

why not get the door cards off a sporting or if 5 door the elx model come with door speakers

You can get some mk1 door cards with speakers I think its the sporting from memory
