Can anyone repair some damaged tracks on a PCB for me or know any companies that do this?

The damage is just below 84mm in the picture and above the left hand square solder pad. The lower of the 3 adjacent narrow tracks is OK but the other 2 are damaged.

I used to do this type of work myself years ago but eyes not good enough and hand not steady enough to do it at this scale now. :(

Dave.

Not sure if this will work for you, but when I used to repair TV's that had a snapped or damaged tracks on the PCB I used to solder a piece of wire between the components where the track was broken, which did the trick, obviously didn't look very nice but it worked. (y)

What is the PCB out of btw?

I thought about adding jumper wires but the only place I can find that one of them would have to go is to the side of a SMD resistor and even that's too small for me to do it because it's too close to a through the board plated connector.

It's the switch panel PCB from a Stilo Connect Nav+. If I can't get it repaired cheaply, I'll keep it just for spares.

thats doesnt look too bad, though not so easy to see
a fibreglass pencil, kynar wire and a soldering iron could fix it if you have a steady hand?
even easier if you bypass the damage from the larger ring sections at the ends IYKWIM

may find someone on here

who could do the repair

Thanks for the suggestions, But......

Used to be a product on the market for this sort of thing, it was basicaly a conductive paint you aplied over the broken track, came in a bottle like nail varnish.....it wouldnt take big volts/amps though.

This might do it....

I checked the link and the minimum width for the conductive paint is 1/32 inch (0.8mm). This board has 3 seperate tracks in the space of 1mm so that's no good.

Problem is (as I posted above) I don't have a steady enough hand for this small size of tracks.

I could put a jumper wire in for one of the damaged tracks but the other only has a "larger ring section" one side of the damage. The other end goes to a SMD (Surface Mounted Device) resistor that's also too small for me to solder to.

Just to conclude this thread, a fellow member ( Philipb ) offered to professionally repair the PCB for me at a reasonable price. He also found another fault with it that I hadn't even noticed. CN+ back together now and working perfectly. Thanks Philip.
