General Cabin filter

I just got a new cabin filter from Parts in Motion. It's a Blue Print make, it's a proper OEM charcoal one and only costs £7.20. It really pays to shop around.

The joke may not have translated well. It's often the case that even main dealers cut corners by not actually changing the cabin filter.

Yeah, I think the dealers use a sonic filter cleaner that gives a "good as old" finish, the invoice cost is (remarkably) the same as a new filter...

Sorry. Got lost in translation. Dealers "forget"' them. As they often forget brake (and clutch)fluid.

I solved my panda's cabin filter debris problem.

These filters are needed. All that airborne plant debris would soon block the evaporator.

So on cars without A/C, all this is going to end up in the heater matrix.

Might be worth making an effort to clean out the scuttle from time to time.

Compressed air and a long gun will do the trick.
