Hello all!

Just joined the Fiat club on Friday having bought a Fiat Punto 2012 Easy, 1.4 petrol.

I've spent a bit of time trying to get an aux cable to work to no avail (I've tried both the blue and yellow ones!). When that failed, I tried to plug in my old Sony stereo into the car but it wasn't drawing power. When I put the original, factory fit Delphi back in everything worked fine!

However ... Whenever I remove the key from the ignition, I can hear a small buzzing noise that seems to discharge (it gets quieter and then stops). It sounds like it's coming from the radio unit itself! Does anyone have an idea what it is and how to stop it? The adapters on the back of the radio were solid to remove initially, but now they slide in and out pretty nicely ... Maybe they're too loose (that said, they're definitely clipped in)?!

Lengthy first post but may as well be detailed ...

Thanks!!

Turns out it was the CD drive whirring down. The noise doesn't happen when there isn't a CD inside!

Now to find a replacement stereo ...
