Hi.
I'm going to be buying a headunit for my car as it currently hasn't got one. I'm looking at buying either this:http://caraudiosecurity.com/shop/product/products_id/3220.html
or this:http://caraudiosecurity.com/shop/product/products_id/3243.html

I was just wondering which one is the better out of the 2. I'm also thinking of replacing the front speakers with these:http://caraudiosecurity.com/shop/product/products_id/2530.html
as I'm guessing the standard speakers in a Cinquecento aren't that good. If any one could recommend anything different in the same price range I'd be grateful.

Cheers.

After looking at the two headunits i agree to go for the fist one, i dont see what the extra 10 pounds on the second one i would be getting which would sway me to buy it

I also say go for the Kenwood, the Pioneer has a nice long list of features etc but it doesnt warrent the extra cash IMO

As for speakers, the JBL components on Ebay look wicked but if you didnt manage to get them I would suggest these: http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?catalogId=10151&storeId=10001&productId=182431&categoryId=38225&langId=-1&parent_category_rn=38225&crumb=31371-38225&varient=&CarSelectorCatalogId=

I know they are cheap but they actually sound gorgeous, Whiley has em up front in his Cinq and I got em round back in my Punto (y)

The Pioneer can be used with an iPod :)

With the speakers, I would go for a set of components over coaxials :)
Custard has been raving about a set of 4" Kicker components he bought brand new off eBay, and the seller did seem to have a few sets available, so it may be worth a search on eBay (y)

alpines are biggest crap in the world!!!

the one shown below, is just crap :) you can see the buttons are wearing away etc, the sound quality is good but the build quality is goodmans standard.

Well I've ordered the Kenwood. I'm considering buying them Kenwood speakers in the link as I've got £15 of Halfords vouchers so I'd only be paying £5. I'll have to have look round the Halfords in Telford.

Well Whiley tested them up against the more expensive JBL ones and they came out better. They lasted and hell of a lot further up the volume scale before distorting.

Im not saying that they are the best speakers around but they are very good speakers for £20, I have had them upto serious volumes in my car testing them with all sorts of music and I havent managed to make them distort yet (y)

I bought those Kenwood speakers as they sounded surprisingly good, a lot better than the Pioneer's I first looked at. Just got to wait for the headunit to come now.
