yes they are quick but plenty of wheel spin on take up too i find:)
still prefer the multijet diesel 1242 nicelight engine lots of go go go:D

trader sounds like you've found a good one too,i hope he legs a nice private punter into your cesspit polo who thinks he will be able to retail it from the roadside income tax free but finds hes lost his underpants

:D

Yea the dealer is really genuine and I think I will be avoiding Polos for a while and doing minor mods to this Punto but where do I start? I'll link it up when I can but it's bright yellow.

Yeah, I'm also pessimist and think the worst of many things. I'm sure he'll do his best to fix it.

Good luck, if its a decent motor Dealer/garage,
then iagree yeah they shouid do there best to put it right,

Btw. ithink ive seen this punto before was it right at back of a car lot ?
Might be a differnt one iwas looking at so might be wrong,

but if its the one,its been off road a while,

It wasn't when I went to see it but it only did 2000 miles last year. What area did you go to see it?

take it back and get a refund, sounds like its exactly the type of dealer you should never buy a car from.

Got a funny feeling that won't be easy :(.

Edit: found this review online :(.

I have had nothing but trouble with my car since I bought it - fair enough they took it back 4 times to try & fix the problem but the car was NEVER fixed - I took it to my own garage & they found the problem in a matter of a couple of hours & fixed the car - but it has cost me £400!!! - I didn't have enough faith to ring Unit 3 car sales & tell them the problem and ask them to fix it as they are useless mechanics... I did ask for a refund but I was spoken down to and actually started to cry - I have been so fed up - all I wanted was a 2nd hand car that worked and ended up with 8 months of hard work!!!! All I wanted was my money back

Hi mate,

My advice would be take it back asap. The longer you leave it the more a garage like that will start saying its "down to your driving style" and "misuse" and other poor excuses. If you take it back within hours of buying it, its highly unlikely anything wrong with it will be down to you.

Plus if they fix things like they did the sump, instead of doing it properly, its only a matter of time before whatever else they've ""fixed"" on the car starts failing too.

Good luck with it mate.

Alan.
