General button under dash

as u prob no i got my cinq in bits, under the dash is a button on a cable near the gearstick, it has been suggested it cld b a fuel cut of switch, did cinqs have these, if not any ideas?

Yep, that'll be the inertial cut off switch reset button

ah ok kool, coz i was told the fuel pump stopped workin, so sum bright spark wired it up 2 the battery dirrect, hence y i got the car cheap coz the previous owner was clueless. so new fuel pump n press the button n away i go?

shouldnt need a new pump, just reset the switch
