Yes mate... I know about the lever but it doesn't provide finite adjustment, just a series of preset positions. When the seat is locked in its most upright position, it's not quite right for me and I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem.

Rain has halted work on the garage and the B has a little pool of water under the passenger seat, although it's not apparent where its leaking. Note the "hard top sized" loft hatch in the garage... it's over stayed its welcome, even in the box room.

Generally soft tops leak in the rain. I use my soft top as a contingency plan if I get caught out, the rest of the time its either hardtop or no hardtop.

Sun is shining. Had another six hours on the garage and started in the rain but now its actually dry and the sun is out. A quick tip: to remove the pool of water from below the passenger seat... meet a mad 4x4 driver on a single track road... hit the brakes hard and the water propels itself forward, with a "glooshing" sound and lands on the feet of the wife, who responds with "Oh dear darling, my new shoes have been deluged with freezing cold water" (maybe not an exact quote) anyway... will take some pics after tea (of the garage, not the wet feet))

When I get water in the footwells it just drains straight out through the rusty holes in the floorplan...

Well, believe it or not... it's raining!

The Alpine, front and rear gables overhang slightly, as do the eaves so they will need to be covered with sawn boards because they can be seen from underneath. The rest of the rafters are to be covered with stirling board as it's cheaper and will give more rigidity. I have two tarpaulins which are supposed to be covering the chipboard flooring at the moment but the rain is getting in everywhere. I will cover the the boarded roof with the tarpaulins and nail the tile laths on top of them. Hopefully this will make a better job of keeping the rain out until I can get my tiles on. The tiles are going to be red clay to match the house. I'm behind because of the weather and only have this week and next before I go back to work for a rest.. haha.

When it's finished, I hope to get a chance to get out more in the car and, because the weathers been so poor here, the missus is becoming more interested in my Lake Garda trip for next May.

Well, my wife carried the Geraniums... My son drove the forklift but, apart from that, it's a solo production. I will be getting some help with the stirling boards as they're too cumbersome to position by myself. Oh BTW... it's raining here.

First day without rain for a week... Roof is water tight and just need battening and tiling.

Question: I am still looking for an original Barchetta radio and theres one on eBay. Seller doesn't have the key code but says these are available on the net. Has anyone heard of this or, should I forget this one?

Which radio is it? Grundig or Clarion?

I have the Clarion which has been repaired and there was no need for a code, not sure if the Grundig is the same.

I dont know what make the radio is.. I searched for Fiat Barchetta Radio on eBay and theres only this one.
