Buggers done it again

I posted on here a couple of weeks ago about my brava that cut out on me when coming up to junction ( steering went heavy then i realised the engine had cut out, it started up again no probs)
exactly the same thing happened again today, was coming up to traffic lights doin' about 30 started to slow down early cos' there was a learner in front of me braking every 2 seconds, any i had kept my foot on the clutch and was slowing down ( coasting , yes i know), going down through the gears when i got to first i realised my steering had got really heavy again, when i put my foot on the gas...nothing, it had cut out again, and it started up first time again no problems, what the hell is wrong here.any help any one!

same thing happened to me a while back - and its a right bugger - its not happened for a while now (touch wood) - i think its been about 6 months - so it may go, dunno what was up with it - got fiat to run a diagnostics but nothing. i guess its just one of those things that happens and we dont know why!

I got exactly the same car, and mine used to do that. It tended to do it when i really pt my foot down and the pushed the clutch in. I thinks its got something to do with a dirty injector. Mines had couple of doses of this injector clener fluid nd it seemsto have done the trick

Had the same problem, mobile tuner (£30) runs sweet now!

Stu what was the name of the injector fluid cleaner ...was it the redex stuff that iv'e seen kicking about halfords ?

Well iv'e just used the Redex Injector cleaner, and used redex as well ( there was a deal on buying both ) so hopefully that'll solve it.cheers
