Broken Windscreen

As the title suggests,

My windscreen is broken, worst yet i broke it fitting a max power metal tax disc holder....

Could get it to stick to windscreen so just wedged it into the corner and then snap/crack.

I now have a huge crack running from the tax disc area coming into passenger side line of view.

Whats more is Autoglass cant get to me till Thursday and thats weather permitting...

My question is there anything i should look for when the chap is fitting the new screen i.e. seals ect.

They are bonded, no seals.

The man who fitted my last but one replacement said that there is quite a bit of tension on the edges of modern, bonded screens.
Doesn't take much to break them if tampering around the edges.
