Punto (Mk2/2b) Broken Heater Switch

Hi, just got my first car, an 05 Active Sport and have managed to brake the heater control switch! I've managed to buy the part I need but have no clue who to change it!

I went to a local garage and was quoted £55 just to fit it!

I have read a few forums and still not sure how to change it!
I can get so far on taking off the centre control. But can't seen to disconnect the cigarette lighter, to get a better view. I still managed to still unscrew the the switch but can't seem to pull it out!

Anyone know how I can get to it?

i dont disconnect the ciggie lighter i pull the console over to the drivers side and leave it hanging there,its tight but attainable
you will need a tool like an old screwdriver with the last 1/4 inch bent over 90% to pull the heater plug back onto its clip or you tend to either be there all day or have to call an ambulance as you ruin your sport interior with red stuff
make sure replacement switch is smooth before refitting or they only last a week

small electrical screwdriver required to push down plug catch on heater switch so it pulls off
look at new switch to work out where it clips in
