So while driving today my clutch pedal went straight to the floor while driving. Didn't want to stop and didn't panic but I was a few miles from home and managed to miraculously time all the lights and stop signs well enough to leave it in 3rd gear and even managed to coast it into the garage and park it perfectly
Upon inspection the cable fixing pin welded onto the clutch arm snapped off. I figured no worries I'll order a new clutch arm. However I just noticed that the clutch arm I ordered appears to require that it be bolted on, and the one in the car appears welded. It seems that the clutch pedal side slips over the shaft and is fixed with a roll pin? It’s hopelessly stuck if so and would appear to require removal of the whole pedal assemble to have access to nudge it out. The manual says nothing about the pedal box so putting it out to the cognoscenti.
