Very pleased that the Bridgestone Potenzas on the front wheels of my GP Sporting have only just needed replacing at 30,000 miles despite the hard life that diesel torque puts them through. Not so pleased that the 205 sized tyres seem hard to source. My tyre dealer took several weeks to find a pair and they came from Belgium.
On a related topic, I know the foam stuff that they give you instead of a spare wheel means that you shouldn't need to remove the wheel but it's pretty cheapskate of FIAT not to supply a wheelbrace in the toolkit anyway. How do I check the wheelnuts for tightness periodically as you're supposed to?

Several weeks for a tyre :|

when i got my puncture we ordered it in and it was fitted by dinnertime.

I did'nt think 205/45/17's were a "funny" size to source???, Replaced my 2 rears with Vredestein Ultrac's at £117(trade) through my work and they were available ex stock or a couple of days at the most.BTW my one remaining original Bridgestone is still ok at nearly 22k, only changed the other one because of a puncture with a nail in the wrong place which could'nt be repaired!Sod's Law its called I beleive.

I got told by the dealer that it had no spare, just came with foam. But i have a spare in my boot lol?

10k matt? how many times do u wheelspin a day? i found out i can get potenzas for £40 a piece new from my GF's step dad, owns car garage, wel impressed!

Tyre dealer who doesnt have 205 / 45 / 17s on stock is a waste of time.

Plenty on 'tinternet on next day delivery. Pay your money and make your choice.

Oh and find a better tyre fitter! (y)

I only managed 10k out of my front Potenzas aswel. The majority of my driving is on twisty country roads though so they do get some stick on the corners :p

The falkens seem to be holding up a lot better though now :)

I could have got other make 205's quickly but thought I'd stick to Bridgestone as they'd given such good service. Haven't looked recently but I think there is a jack in the boot - just no wheelbrace.

20k on my bridgestones so far, think i might get 30k out of them too!
Will swop front for backs soon so when it comes to replacing i can drive a harder bargain on 4 tyres!

Will prolly go for 215/45 17 Pirelli P Zero Nero from blackcircles.com
