According to Italian magazine Auto (auto.it), following the partnership between FIAT and Chrysler, the Bravo SW should come on the market some time in 2010.

It should as, according to this magazine, seeing that the Bravo didnt do so well as much as it was expected, FIAT might concentrate on a new station wagon based on the forthcoming Alfa Romeo Milano (Alfa 149)

Edited to remove very slow hotlink.

I'd take the Bravo over the Chroma though.

But I have absolutely nil need for an estate car so I'll just stick with my famhatch. =)

Looks good to me - I'd have bought one instead of the hatch without a moment's hesitation.

I wish I'd had one last weekend, when we helped our daughter move house-share in London!

It's obviously just a side profile, but nothing looks "awkward" to spoil the lines of the hatch. Lovely colour as well, just like mine ":cool:JazzBlue"

Me too!

The load area of the B2 is bigger than the B1, but if there'd been an estate/stationwagon/Weekend version, I'd have had it for even greater luggage space.

I've replaced a Skoda Octavia with my Bravo so I've lost a fair amount of room as the Octy had a vast boot.

It's not a problem for 95% of the time but there are occasions when it would have been good - I got a settee in the back of my Octavia once!

Is Octavia's boot really bigger than Bravo's? Hm...That's basically a Golf, and Golf is in the same class with Bravo. And Bravo's boot is at least average. So I would imagine no more than 10-15 litres difference...

No , it's much bigger. It's on the same platform as a golf but if you look at the rear overhang there's a huge difference. Interior space is the same - it's all in the boot.

The Octavia is 585 litres with the seat up , or 1455 with the seats down and the car is 4569mm long.
The Golf is 350 or 1305 litres and 4199mm long.
The Bravo is 365 or 1165 litres and 4336mm long.

That's more than 50% extra boot space on the Skoda with the seats up.

The new SW could be based on this..the new 149...photos from auto.it:

In my opinion, the Bravo is much nicer car

Wonder what the price on the 149 will be? Looks pretty much as a Bravo(good)! I would also have choosen a Bravo estate over the hatch anyday:)

I'd expect the 149 to be a couple of grand more at list price , with an even bigger jump when you consider the large discounts available on the Fiat.

On a similar note I sat in a new Lancia Delta on friday which was an interesting car.
The interior was obviously Bravo (just with a higher spec and nicer materials) and the shape of the car was almost identical. It just had a horribly ugly front end and more rear legroom. The engine choices sound nice though.

I love the front end of the Delta(y) Too bad Lancia is not availeble in Norway:( And it would obviously be good with better rear leg space(y) Thats the largest drawback of the Bravo:(
