Hi all
I’ve got a Fiat Bravo 1.4 T Jet 2009 plate. It needs a gear selector cable but apparently they don’t make them for this model. Has anyone had any joy sourcing them or an alternative.
Thanks
Andy

Hi, unfortunately I don’t think that would work. I’ve managed to get a photo of the original and it looks different. Thanks though

Maybe try putting your car's exact details or Reg. No. into www.autodoc.co.uk . This parts supplier lists several brands of gear selector cables for the 1.4 T-Jet. It seems there are 2 different length cables needed for your car.

Hth.

Hi, Use fiat ePer with your vin to find them. For my 2009 1.4 Tjet 120hp codes are

MAXGEAR 32-1222 and MAXGEAR 32-1221.

OEN 55228581 and 55228582
I live in Italy and you can find them on ebay fiat Original but they are like 50 and 90 euros depending on which you need, or there are 2-3 companies that make them aftermarket.
Does it need a cable because it's broken or because the shifter is hard to move left-right ? If it's the second, it might be the pin of the gearbox mechanism on the m32 gearbox that is too tight or is not greased, the one that moves the mechanism up-down (left-right inside the car).

Edit: I looked at your picture and that looks like the cable that goes front-back inside the car so it's not the pin problem.
The one you have in the picture is OEN 55228581 and looks like this
