Brava 80 sx electric window problem

Wonder if anybody can help me, My driver side window is being a pain when I press the switch sometimes it will go down sometimes it will go up other times it will do nothing which is annoying when I park up and I can not shut the window. My passenger side is fine also when i press the button I can hear it clicking on the passenger side as though it wants to do it but carn't for some strange reason. Any ideas out there?

Check the connector block that connects into the door.
My Bravo had the very same problem when I bought it, so I quite simply disconnected the connector ( unscrew about half a turn) and make sure the pins are all clean. If not give a clean up using a needle file, ( an emery board will do) then just give the pins a little nudge up or down, so they make a tighter contact when you replace the block.

I this don't work, it may be a worn switch, in which case a scrappy, or I'd be sure a boo peep will have one to sell ya.

Thanks roberto but have tryed that but now I have a bigger problem to solve, My car is reving the engine when idle between 1500-2000 revs not sure whats happened but it only started doing this when we started to mess with the window do you think we have shorted something all fuses are fine. Have been told something has gone in the engine and its gonna cost £150 just for the part! Can you help here too?
