Technical braking fault maybe

Hi all

back again with another issue, when braking I'm getting a loud whining noise from the rear, middle of the car . Its not intermittent, only sometimes. Does anyone have any ideas? Any feedback would be appreciated.

When were the brakes last serviced?

Erm, not to sure. I know the rear drums had been done around April, May time. The front brakes are probably due now which I'll have done next week for MOT. But I'm not convinced changing the brakes will solve the noise issue. I'm also having the driver side brake pipe replaced too. I'm just a little confused.

its probably something in between the pad and the disc like a little tiny stone usaly they fall out after awhile i wouldn't worry about it if your getting brakes replaced anyway

personally id pop up to the local motor factors, get a can of brake cleaning spray...take the drums off and spray a load of that in there. the stuff will clean anything off the brakes if it is a stone or anything like that thats kicked up
