General Brake fluid

Hi all,was just checking my oil/fluids, my brake fluid is a bit low so I wana top it up, do I need any spiecal kind of brake fluid, or is it all pretty much stnd? Sorry for sounding a thick c**t but mechanics ain't my thing

You need DOT4 brake fluid. You can mix different brands but it must be the same type.

From a new sealed unshaken bottle

Also clean the cap of the header tank before removal

and the main reason why its low is brakes are low or slight weep

Had brakes done for last mot 11mths ago and only use van on wkends,so I'll top up and keep eye on it cheers
