Ooooowwww RX7's.
My mate back in Glasgow wanted an RX7 for years & after driving around in this clapped out old Cavalier he bought one about 3 years ago. It was one of only 7 official UK RX7's that were brought into the UK in 1992 making it a K reg. His was the only one in silver, it was a gorgeous car, & quick without being neck breaking but it consumed fuel at a rate of knots, he managed to get about 15mpg & that was barely booting it.
After 4 weeks he was trying to show off to another mate who has a UK Integra Type R & promptly lost it going round a bend that should have been no problem. After long negotiations with the insurance company they eventually agreed to fix it at a cost of £9000, he only paid £11000 for it??? Anyway it took 8 months to repair as all the panels had to come from Japan & after all that he sold it!
Plus the guy I got turbo Cinq off, has one & he did exactly the same, back end stepped out round a bend & straight into the Armco!
If he thinks he has problems with the integrale wait till he gets one of those & faces the full engine rebuild every 60,000miles as the tips ware out!
Beautiful, car but you have to remember they were 50K cars new & are really expensive to fix should anything go wrong!
