Going over speed bumps and the like it has increasingly come to my attention of this clunk & clink coming from my rear end when going over bumps. I want to try and diagnose this problem.
The previous owner had both rear swing arms and the rear right side shock absorber replaced 8k miles/1.5 years ago. Since then not much has been done to the car since I bought it a year ago.
I am puzzled as looking at the faq it could be shocker or swing arm bushes but surely they can't be worn out after 8k miles. Any other possibilities? Maybe its the left shocker going it's hard to tell which side.

Ok am pretty sure it's coming from the rear right had corner. Having run my car over 2 small potholes aligning just one side running over them respectively it is definatly just the right side that clunks.

It surely can't be the swing arms/bushes as they where replaced 5k,10k ago respectively so I guess it must be a shock.
Am just wondering if anybody knows any fiat part places or scrapyards in stoke-on-trent where I can get a rear sporting shock absorber as I plan to fit lowered suspension in the spring/early summer anyway.
