bought a new gear knob...HELP :(

Silly me bought what I thought was a bargin on ebay...carbon fibre effect lift up reverse universal gearknob. arrived today.

heres me thinking that it will be grub screws...
Needs gluing on!
Anyone else glued their gearknobs on and found they will come off really easily? I am quite aggressive sometimes and don't want it to come off in my hand.

maybe dude, but I needed a quick fix. Everyone takes the p**s because my girlfriend has a better bravo than me she has a £50 momo knob on there as well that the previous owner put on and I want mine to look nice too

Could you not drill a couple of holes in the base of the knob and use a couple of self-tappers to grip onto the lever ? .
