Hello, I've two questions about my boot, as follows:

1. Should the boot lid have a cover on the underside? When I open the boot I am faced with the wiper motor. Should it have a cover?

2. Should the boot floor have a board or something to create a flat surface? I just have carpet, and then the spare wheel below. It's not a very flat surface.

One of the round holes in the tailgate inner panel should have trim around it. This is your 'handle' to close it, the trim prevents cuts from the metal edges.
So simple, and effective, made me smile every time I used it.

Thanks Bill, I have found what I assume must be the handle on the left hand side, but I must be missing my trim.

Mine was a 'Suite' a special edition based on the SX, manufactured late 1999, perhaps the S didn't have it, or they deleted it on later models, or over the years yours has got lost. It was a simple piece of black plastic edging trim, in the right side hole I think.

I like the Panda too. A simple strap loop.
