Hello,
The electric boot lock on mt 05 Multipla is not working. The switch gives continuity, the solenoid works with an independant power supply.
Is there a relay that could be faulty? does anyone now where it is?

Regards

I'd be keen to understand what's going on with mine too. Since the icy weather started, my boot lock is intermittently working so sometimes the lock won't engage properly when closing the boot. The usual cleaning process with plusgas to free up any greasy gunk doesn't work.

It almost feels as if there's a frozen air bubble under the rubber release switch and it's frozen solid so it won't move.

Over the christmas whilst in Leeds and Glasgow the boot catch wouldn't work at all and access was impossible until the mild weather returned last weekend in London.

My boot lock has also failed, following the cold weather. It opened of its own accord twice the other day and then refused to open at all. Now it seems dead. Any ideas?

I also have the same problem with the boot lock so would be grateful for any advice before I take it to a garage

See my reply to the following thread on this Forum:

Multipla boot lock - it's permanently locked

This explains how to replace the microswitch that operate the tailgate lock.

Hope this helps.:)
