Styling boot handle cover

Hey chaps. You know the strip that runs along the boot covering the handle and plate lights? Is it removable? I want to do a spot of paint repair and figured it would be best to remove it for a thorough clean and paint...

Yes, it's removable. On the inside, you need to remove the plastic cover and you ll find that long strip it's hold by 2 or 3 nuts. Unscrew those and should come out. Good luck.
