Tuning boost gauge

Hi all, ive been looking over the internet all morning and i want to fit a boost gauge to my gps but the only problem im having is im not sure where the vacuum pipe/boost pipe goes too, ive seen pictures where its been drilled into the black boost pipe at the side of the engine but is there not an easier way to do this? all the rest i can do its just where to put it as i really dont want to start drilling my engine :/. cheers for any help

If you have a 1.9 you have to drill...
