Technical Boonet does not open

Of course while I was driving around this morning I noticed that the Temp Gauge was heading towards 130C - so I pulled over to have a look at the engine bay to find out that bonnet release is no longer working......

Allowed the engine to cool down and drove the short distance home. The electric fan is working.

Managed to grab the bonnet release cable from inside the cabin but this did not release the bonnet.

Can you open the bonnet from the front ?

Pull release while someone else pulls up on the bonnet

To open a Uno (or any remote cabled pull) bonnet (if the cable has slipped out or off) firstly use a set of pliers to try and pull the inner of the cable from inside.

If this doesn't work, only way in is to prise the bonnet lock through the grill with a long lever or slot ended screwdriver.

As long as it has worked recently, shouldn't be a problem.
