Just got an email from Paypal also Mark confirming your cancellation.
If you havent done it I would double check your paypal account. I definately haven't done anything this end.

i got a email from paypal tellign me i ave changed some security questions and i need t oconfirm my actiosn by login in and doing it that way when i havent even changed none!

Dont follow the link in the e-mail. These are some of the more well known phishing scams. Double check by going straight to the paypal site and logging in from there. If anything needs to be answered it will tell you when you log in. Its a crafty way of scammers obtaining your username and password and doing what they hell they wish with your money

wimmy's right, if you have the status bar open at the bottom of your email viewer which shows your the url of whatever link your hovering over you will see that the link doesn't point to the paypal site at all. more likely to be a dummy site to steal your details like wimmy said.

Things may be falling into place.
I recently deleted a credit card from my Paypal account. That could be the reason for the email as that's the only time I've accessed the account for weeks. The account itself is still up and running.

Just to be double sure I would change your paypal password.

Your membership will still run for the 12 months tho as you have paid regardless that paypal sent me the e-mail
