Hi guys

Just wondering....

Would it be possible to buy an external hard drive to use with the Media Player, as all 5000 or so tracks on my iPod are in the wrong format

Also, just think it would be easier to use, providing there's no compatibility issues.

Any help is appreciated.

I believe you can use a usb harddrive but its hit and miss as to which one you need as most of them draw too much power and the usb socket wont run them.

but it can be done and has been done on here, just wait for someone else to reply who has done this, and id go with their make/model of drive.

Will need to be Fat32 (we think), and probably be powered separatly from the cigarette lighter socket.

Someone can probably be more scientific and work out the specifcs but I am estimating it is possible to get about 1500 songs on a 4gb memory stick. Can't go wrong!
