I have just changed phones from a SE K800i to a W880. Both phones work well in the car but have the same problem, which I know has been mentioned earlier in this thread - they will occasionally (or sometimes often) fail to disconnect. The headset icon will stay on, on the phone, and I can't hear anything through the phone, even though the car is nowhere in range. The only way round it is to restart the phone. I originally thought it was a problem with my phone, but having had it with two phones it seems to suggest it's a Blue&Me problem. Has anyone else managed to sort this problem out, or does anyone have contact details for reporting problems like this to the Blue&Me developers?

Hi managed to get my Sony Ericsson K800i working first time but wifes Samsung D900 will only hook up and make 1 maybe 2 calls and then disconnects and the only way to get blue & me to recognise it again is to turn phone on and off again anyone any suggestions please??

this may seam like a silly question but does the blue and me look any different inside the car to a gp without it? can any one show me a picture please. also im wondering if its possible to have the blue and me put in after you buy the car. i have a dynamic and it says that you can get the blue and me with them just not sure if it will work now if i was to get it. can any one help me?

Hi everyone !

i just purchased a new GP Avtive 1,3 MJ and it's a great car.
BUT, i've a NBIG problem with the blue&me function.
I've never coupld pair my phone with the bluetooth function.
I've a SE W800.
On eveytime i tried to pair, my phone freeze when the message "blue&me connected" displays.
I tried with differents phones and it's various :
- 2 differents K750-> same pb
- a K800 -> same pb

And it works with a new K750, a W810 and a nokia 5510, and a SAGEm...

So i'me desperate, i've reflash my phone with all new firmware, and still does'nt work...:bang:

Any idea ? does the blue&me an update soon on release ?

Let some time pass ( 15-20 minutes ) after you pair the phone to blue-and-me.
This is about how long it takes for everything to start working properly.
I guess it is the time needed to download the phonebook...
All these with a SE W850 and about 150 phonebook entries.

I will tried to let the phone alone during 15-20 min as you say, but in fact it's strange, because with the phone that works (W10 and a new K750), it pairs immediatly...with the not working phones, the phones reboot themselves...

But i think that i have found the main pb. I just go to the car seller, and i've tried my phone with a another car, and same problem, my phone freezes.

I reaaly think, that the "old" phone from SE (made in 2006 or before), it doesnt work.
To be more detailed, if the phone has a CID 36 (like the BIOS of the phone), its doesn't work, but if the phone has a CID 49 it's OK!

And there is no link with the firmware, because i've tried with all firwmares, (R1BC002, R1DB001, R1BD001....) and that's not ok.

As the K750 could be CID 36 (old) or CID49 (new), that's why, i guess, some K750 works and others not...

As you could see, i became a expert !! But it still doesn't work !!!:bang:

Bouhouhou, i'm so sad, because my car is so cool and great....

I'm afraid that i must buy an other phone, even if i like my phone (W800)...

RE the Nokia N95! I just got one and am having a little trouble. I was using a V3i whih was a crap phone but it worket faultlessly with B&M. Its a shame I can't use the message reader with the N95 but I shall live. My question is how do you manually import the phonebook? I'm being dumb but I can't see how. I have managed to pair the phone & can dial/receive calls but thats it so far. Any help would be appreciated [/

Just started playing with the Blue & Me and having problems straight away.

Nothing appears in the multi function display and the button on the wheel with the phone on doesnt appear to do anything.

we have paired the phone ok but when the pin no was issued, again nothing appeared in the display.

anybody any ideas or is a dealer visit on the cards.....

Also the speedo shows the letter h and the mileage and both flashing, we have been told by a dealer that this stops after 200 miles, would this have anything to do with it.

Problem with Blue & Me..Can you help?

Hello, I have a unto Dynamic which I upgraded to a better Hi Fi Subwoofer etc and also the Blue & Me. However, I have been having problems with it for a while. Th dealer can't seem to find out what is wrong although the car is due back in this week.

Eberytime I connect my iPod orother medis to the USB it works for a while then the mileage dashboard light starts flashing and the radio unit flicks over to AUX. None of the controls for medis / voice. bluettorh respond from the steering wheel and I have to turn off he car unplug the MP3 player and start again. Sometimes it then works fine for only ashort while then plays up again. Sometimes it does bot reset at all and is still on AUX with all the problems.

Can anyone advise on what to do? Ca it be reset properly or am I doing something wrong. This is very frustrating..thaks!!

There seems to be couple of us on here having the same kind of problem, see the post from manclad.

My mileage is also flashing with a h showing in the display, have been told by fiat that this stops after 200 miles (not got there yet to confirm), it seems to be affecting our blue and me as well though as we are not getting any messages appearing in the display and the telephone button on the steering wheel doesnt do anything.

let us know what the remedy is so i can let our dealer know what needs to be done....:bang: :bang:
