You welcome, sorry it does not work.

USB 10 error and adaptor ? Don't understand.
When do you have this usb 10 error ?
When you put the adaptor or the key to upgrade ?

thanks for the quick response
i tried using the adaptor at first before i even tried updating the blue and me as i have an iphone and bought the adaptor to allow me to play music, i have read that it should work on the blue&me 5.4 or later but didn't work therefore attempting both updates of 5.5 and 5.6 both resulting in usb error 10 which appears on the visual display which is next to the speedometer.
any ideas?

Hi

is anyone able to help please I have just got a Fiat MyDeisel 2009 which I believe will be blue&me Mk1. I have done the update to 5.6. Media player works fine with memory stick. I am able to connect my iphone 5s via blue&me and also transfer address book. The problem I have is when I make a call it starts to ring through the car speakers but after a few rings it will drop, radio will come back on and the iphone will continue to dial with from the phone.

Has anyone come across this. Really disappointed can't use my phone. I even though about getting a mk2 blue&me but not sure if my 2009 could just have a updated ecu put in it, I do see mk2 on ebay at not to bad a price.

Any advise or guidance appreciated as totally new to the fiat blue&me.

Dave

I think you can check version is the menu, not sure ?

For the usb stick, can you borrow other sticks from friends ? Can you try to format a stick to msdos fat / fat (not 32) ? Perhaps with MiniTool Partition Wizard Home Edition (its free- or any other free tool)

Couple of newby B&M Qs.
Firstly I apologise for being lazt and not reading all 57 pages of this thread.

Setup = Brand new Fiat 500 Lounge + Iphone 5 (also a Google Nexus 4 paired)

I want the iPhone to be operable as a media player but not to Autoplay everytime I connect it to charge. So I deselected autoplay in the Media Player Menu in the dash.

Now when I have the iPhone connected via USB & a song playing on it the car does not show Blue & Me as a music Source. Just FM, AM & Aux.

Q1 How am I suppose to manually play from the Media player with this config?

Q2 Is there a way to swap BT phone connections if two paired phones are visible other than to turn BT off on one of the phones?

TIA

Hi, I have a 61 plate 500 twin air with B&M. My old iPod nano is no longer recognised via the USB port but has played perfectly in the past. It charges but that's about it. Any ideas? Wrong setting somewhere? Thanks.

Try disconnecting the car battery for 30 min to reset everything and see if that sorts it (y)

Hi I have a 10 plate Fiat Punto Evo, all good until 2 days ago and now when making and receiving calls sounds like I have a rocket launcher in my car coming out of the speakers ... any ideas ?

I don't know whether this is the right place but I'm having trouble pairing my new phone. I'm wondering if I've paired too many and it just won't take any more. Is there a way of deleting old pairings? All it is saying is it won't pair. The phone is a Samsung Galaxy S111 mini. It paired successfully with the same model but different handset last week but won't pair with the new replacement. I had to change because I was getting no signal in the house with 02. Can anyone help? Thanks, Candy

Candy,

If you press the windows button on the steering wheel, say "Settings" and the voice will tell you the options. Choose delete and you'll get more options including delete <various options> plus 'delete all'. Might be easier to delete all and reinstall just the phones you want to pair. You get the options to pair and the display shows the PIN code to put into the phone which should be in the Bluetooth page and available to be found.

Hope that helps.

Paul

Last week voice dialing would go normally, selecting the entry and continuing, then you hear the DTMF tones, the phone appears to dial and about 5-10 seconds later it quits and says "call ended" with the phone symbol with the slashed circle.

This week working find. Can't figure it out, and I have a "case number" but of course the people on the phone at Fiat are sub-clueless.

Go to play store and download the AudioRouter app (free). It plays music directly via the bluetooth to the cars speakers (not great quality).
Does anyone know of an app that allows me to play music via the USB to blue and me??

Hi Panda,
I can put music onto a USB stick and it plays.
I listen to audio books with the audible app.I can plug my old IPHONE into the blue and me and it plays.

My new HTC andriod isnt recognised as a usb device by the blue and me.
What I am after is a app that allows the blue and me to see the HTC one m8. It seems crazy that it isnt recognised.

The only way I have found to play my my audiobooks is to stream to bluetooth with an app called AudioRouter. The quality is not great but it works.
Questions:
1)Does anyone know of an app that allows audio to go to the car speakers via the USB.
2) What are the specification of the Blue and ME usb input. If I knew those I could look for an app to help.

Nope the latter will not work with an app, needs to be MP3 format on the device.

It simply requires audio files to be MP3 format, it doesn't support A2DP.

Hi I own a 59 plate punto evo multiair 135 with stock blue and me blaupunkt stereo system with the Windows usb port but no aux input.

I have been trying to find the best solution to playing music from my phone / mp3 / music playing device and because they Changed the usb software in most devices (as you are all aware I'm sure) so that it is no longer recognised as an external hard disc, I may as aswell have been banging my head against a brick wall.

The best thing I have found so far is a TDK usb flash drive I bought today that has the capability of connecting to any android device that has 4.1+ jellybean software and be used as an external drive,
So you can plug it into your phone when on the go and quickly transfer a song etc to the usb stick (for Times when you've just found some banging tune you have to play just right now!)

Here is the usb stick it cost me £10 at Tesco.

In case there is any confusion the usb end of the stick rotates 180 degrees and slides into a little usb input on the opposite end of the android connection housing ( as seen in the picture.

Any other suggestions are much welcome.

anyone has any idea if a USB OTG cable would be able to stream sound from an internet radio app to the B&M system?

if not, is there any solution to streaming audio, like the A2DP protocol does?

i really dont want to have to update a usb stick all the time.

i like using the Jango app to listen to music in the car.
